The World's Largest Pancake Breakfast

New England Public Radio is happy to be serving up beverages at Spirit of Springfield’s Pancake Breakfast on Main Street in downtown Springfield on Saturday, May 12th from 8AM to 11AM. The breakfast celebrates Springfield's 376th birthday and promises bountiful pancakes, friendly faces and warm welcomes.
Besides the pancakes that are being donated by Performance Food Group and being whipped up by Mercy Medical Center and topped with syrup from Friendly's, there will be Carando Classic bacon at two cooking tents and pancetta at one, milk and orange juice, and coffee from Green Mountain Coffee Growers brewed by the Hampden County Sheriff's Department. WMAS FM will offer a unique twist to the breakfast making their beverage station a flavor station with chocolate and strawberry milk for the kids and flavored creamers for the coffee lovers. All will be served on paper products donated by Baystate Health with additional support from Mansfield Paper Company and Costco.
Working behind the scenes with the volunteers is the ever- important Massachusetts Army National Guard.
Keeping the crowds entertained will be Mix's new morning team Zito and Karen, Rock102's Bax and O'Brien, and two entertainment stages filled with local talent. For more information and to view the complete line-up, visit spiritofspringfield.org.
