Q: Is there a minimum contribution to be considered an active donor to New England Public Radio?
A: No, there is not a specific dollar amount required to be a contributing listener. We ask that you contribute an amount that fits your budget. When you make a contribution of $60 or more, you can choose from a number of thank you gifts. All contributions are greatly appreciated and support the programming you hear on our stations.
Q: What is a Sustaining Partner Plan?
A: Sustaining partners donate to NEPR month after month, year after year. NEPR will charge your debit or credit card the amount you tell us, until you notify us to stop. There’s no need to ever wonder if your membership is current! As a sustaining partner, your membership is always up-to-date. To find out more specifically about sustaining members, please click here.
Q: Can I update or make changes to my Sustaining Partner Plan?
A: Absolutely! To make a change to your personal information (address, contact info), credit card, monthly gift amount, etc, or to request an annual Thank You gift, please visit our Update Your Information page, or contact Susan Lofthouse at 413-735-6607 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: How long does my membership last?
A: Memberships (with the exception of Sustaining Partnership) to NEPR are for one year. If a person makes a gift to NEPR in October, the membership will remain current until the following October.
At times NEPR will ask members if they are able to make an additional gift. These additional gifts are a valuable revenue stream for the station. Giving an additional gift does not extend a donor’s membership, unless the member requests it.
If you would like to renew your membership, please click here or mail a check to NEPR, 1525 Main Street, Springfield, MA 01103.
Q: When will I receive the thank you gift I requested?
A: If you requested a thank you gift when you made your contribution, it will arrive in about six weeks. If it has been longer than that, please contact Chris Daly at 413-735-6612 or email@example.com and he’ll be happy to investigate. There are times when orders are delayed or an item is on back order and fulfillment takes longer than anticipated. We appreciate your patience.
Q: How do I get my company to match my gift to NEPR?
A: That’s great – thank you! You can pick up a matching gift form from your human resources department, fill it out and send it to New England Public Radio along with your contribution. If it's an electronic form, you can use Susan Lofthouse as a contact and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. If it’s a paper, just mail the form to us. We'll take care of the rest!
Q: Can I give a NEPR Membership as a gift, or in memory of someone?
A: Yes. You make the contribution, and the recipient will receive the benefits, including a thank you gift, if you wish. To do this, call Chris Daly at 413-735-6612, or send a check. Whichever way you choose, please be sure to let us know the name and address of the gift recipient.
Q: When will I get my tax receipt?
A:We send acknowledgements through the mail for gifts of $60 or more. To request one during tax season, call 413-735-6612.
Q: How can I donate my car to NEPR?
A:To donate used cars, boats, motorcycles, etc. please go to this informational page. Car donation revenue allows us to keep our membership drives short. Thank you!
