Burns Maxey became the creative and digital marketing manager for New England Public Radio in 2016. She oversees NEPR’s website, digital content, apps and print/digital visuals and identity.
She attended Bard College and is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design. Prior to joining NEPR, she has worked in marketing and art direction for organizations and businesses from San Francisco to New Orleans. She serves on the board of CitySpace and lives in Easthampton with her husband and two cats.
When she’s not immersed in New England Public Radio, she can often be found working in her studio and, more often than not, binge-listening to her favorite podcasts and thinking about urban planning.
