Looking back at the news this week, employees of the Daily Hampshire Gazette and Valley Advocate announced they're looking to unionize. The effort was sparked, in part, by perceived gender pay inequities that came to light last year.

Employees at the Daily Hampshire Gazette got a letter Tuesday from the president of the company that owns the paper, saying he opposes the union they're trying to form.
